What We Do

Our Domestic and Linen Service teams help keep our hospitals clean and safe. We make sure patients, staff and visitors are comfortable. We clean rooms and deliver fresh linen every day.

A clean environment is essential for preventing infection and protecting health. Our teams follow the National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness and work closely with Infection Prevention and Control teams to make sure everything meets strict hygiene rules.

Domestic Services

  • Cleaning is carried out 24/7 across all wards and departments.
  • We use electronic audit tools to check standards and improve performance.
  • High-risk areas are cleaned more often, and special cleans (such as discharge or isolation cleans) are done quickly when needed.
  • We have clear escalation guidelines and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor 

Laundry and Linen Services

  • We work with a nationally recognised laundry provider to ensure all linen meets strict hygiene standards.
  • Linen is processed in line with HTM 01-04 and EN 14065 standards for safety and bio-contamination control.
  • Our on-site teams deliver and collect linen daily, supporting wards and departments.
  • We also help with staff uniform supply and distribution.
