Our Catering teams provide high-quality meals for patients, staff, and visitors across South Tyneside District Hospital and Sunderland Royal Hospital. We are committed to offering nutritious, safe, and tasty food that meets a wide range of dietary needs.
We deliver over 3,000 patient meals daily, ensuring every patient receives the right meal for their needs.
We cater for IDDSI levels (3-7), vegan, vegetarian, and religious diets such as halal and kosher.
Meals are prepared by trained chefs who work closely with dietitians and speech and language specialists to ensure safety and quality.
Where possible, we use fresh ingredients and local suppliers.
Our restaurants provide a wide range of hot and cold meals, snacks, and drinks at reasonable prices.
Vending machines are available 24/7 for snacks and drinks.
